They will attend three training sessions at Cal South’s base in Fullerton, including a day for college coaches. These training sessions will serve as preparation and selection process ahead of the 2018 US Youth Soccer ODP Region IV Championships that will be held January 5-8, 2018 in Phoenix.
Steve Hoffman, Cal South Director of Coaching Education and Player Development, said, “This year’s group is very exciting as we have called in a lot of new players to the Cal South PRO+|ODP program for the first time. I know the teams will be ready to represent Cal South the best way possible by playing entertaining and attacking soccer.”
The US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program was formed in 1977 to identify a pool of players in each age group from which a National Team will be selected for international competition. This selection is an exceptional honor and SDSC is proud to share the names of the SDSC players who have been selected to the Cal South ODP Player Pool. Congratulations to the all our players and best of luck at the training camps!
