SDSC Surf Coach since 2015

John has over 32 years coaching experience. He played for USIU in San Diego for 4 years. He started his coaching experience at Kearny High School winning their first ever league title and Crusaders Soccer Club. Recently, he coached at Orange Glen High, and as the varsity he contributed to six league tittles and the school's first CIF title. John has some international experience taking a team to Harlem cup in Holland advancing to the finals. John's philosophy is to have a lot of fun while learning. Favorite soccer moment: scoring a scissor kick on a 40 yard cross; and watching Maradona vs England in the World Cup in 1986.
