To all our past and current RB Rec soccer families,
Please join us for a fundraiser! This year, Poway Unified School District implemented a new policy for field use in the district. For every school field we use as a part of our program, there is a $15 per hour charge. In the past, usage of the field was not charged as we were a local youth league.
With this new rule, we are now looking at an added cost to run our league of roughly $27,000 a year - a big expense for a non-profit organization. We are looking for ways to avoid raising our recreational soccer season fees to $225+ in order to cover these costs.
Round Table Pizza has been nice enough to help us with events like these to help keep our league going strong. We're hoping our past and current rec soccer families will join us for a night out for pizza! Please bring your family and friends (and teams!), jerseys on the kids, and support our league. 20% of what you spend will be given to RB Rec Soccer to help with these new costs.
If we reach a certain point, they will raise that amount to 25%!
